Five Powerful Ways Abusive Narcissists Get Inside Your Head by Shahida Arabi In popular culture, the term “narcissistic” is thrown about quite loosely, usually referring to vanity and self-absorption. People who meet the criteria for Narcissistic Personality Disorder or those who have traits of Antisocial Personality Disorder can operate in extremely manipulative ways within the context of intimate relationships due to their deceitfulness, lack of empathy and their tendency to be interpersonally exploitative. It’s important in any kind of relationship that we learn to identify the red flags when interacting with people who display malignant narcissism and/or antisocial traits, so we can better protect ourselves from exploitation and abuse, set boundaries, and make informed decisions about who we keep in our lives. Watch out for the following covert manipulation tactics when you’re dating someone or in a relationship. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

I don’t think about the past or regret things much these days. But sometimes I wish that I had known some of things I have learned over the last few years a bit earlier. Because some of these 16 things in this article a teacher probably spoke about in class. Some of it would probably not have stuck in my mind anyway. But I still think that taking a few hours from all those German language classes and use them for some personal development classes would have been a good idea. So here are 16 things I wish they had taught me in school (or I just would like to have known about earlier). 1. This is one of the best ways to make better use of your time. Personal Software Inspector (PSI) - Introduction The Secunia Research team from Flexera is comprised of several security specialists who conduct vulnerability research in various products in addition to testing, verifying and validating public vulnerability reports. Since its inception in 2002, the goal of the Secunia Research team is to provide the most accurate and reliable source of vulnerability intelligence. Delivering the world’s best vulnerability intelligence requires skill and passion. Team members continually develop their skills exploring various high-profile closed and open-source software using a variety of approaches, focusing chiefly on thorough code audits and binary analysis. Secunia researchers discover hard-to-find vulnerabilities that aren’t normally identified with techniques such as fuzzing, and the results have been impressive. The team produces invaluable security advisories based on research of the vulnerabilities affecting any given software update.
Mapping News by Mapperz Sleep, Learning, and Memory | Healthy Sleep The Learning Process and Sleep Sleep, learning, and memory are complex phenomena that are not entirely understood. However, animal and human studies suggest that the quantity and quality of sleep have a profound impact on learning and memory. Although the exact mechanisms are not known, learning and memory are often described in terms of three functions. Each of these steps is necessary for proper memory function. Sleep researchers study the role of sleep in learning and memory formation in two ways. Sleep Stages and Types of Memory Different types of memories are formed in new learning situations. The earliest sleep and memory research focused on declarative memory, which is the knowledge of fact-based information, or "what" we know (for example, the capital of France, or what you had for dinner last night). Research has also focused on sleep and its role in procedural memory—the remembering "how" to do something (for example, riding a bicycle or playing the piano). Open Questions

One playful pup engages the other, only to fall over - seemingly "faking" his own death (you can, however, see him peek up to check on his opponent's reaction). The pup lies on the ground for just a moment, then bounces up for more fun - and then falls to the ground again. If someone trained this dog to do to fake his own death - all that I can say is "wow".
