Según Luis Camnitzer "Caro segura-mente encaja en la comente artística que desde 1960 se ha categorizado como conceptualismo. Pero también encaja en algo más vasto y culturalmente más importante. Caro se manifiesta en una forma muy particular de guerrilla visual.
