Rocket Stove et chauffage écologique | Blog Tricofolk Encore une longue absence, mais pour une bonne raison (comme toujours… Voilà déjà quelques temps que Cher&tendre et moi avions en projet de remanier et refaire complètement notre séjour-salle à manger, et l’idée de construire notre propre moyen de chauffage a fait son petit chemin aussi… C’est ainsi que, mûs par un instinct de conservation probablement, nous nous sommes empressés de nous mettre à l’œuvre à la fin de l’été, laissant tomber tous nos autres gros projets en cours, pour nous consacrer à la construction d’un poêle à bois de masse, de type « rocket stove », et accessoirement pour refaire complètement à neuf notre salon. Mais qu’est-ce que c’est qu’un poêle de masse ? Cher&tendre, chargé de mission pour la construction dudit poêle de masse, a opté pour une variante, le « rocket stove ». Nous avons opté pour construire un Rocket stove parce qu’il semblait plus accessible à des novices en poêle de masse ET en maçonnerie. Allez zou, les photos ! Et voici le poêle terminé :

C’est un poêle de masse à auto-construire. Enfin, les puristes me pardonneront, ce n’est pas un « vrai poêle de masse », mais un poêle à inertie. I must say that this is one of my How-To favorites. So, I came across ways (most of them the same with a few minor differences) to make the dishwasher detergent and was definitely intrigued with making it into cubes. Ingredients 2 cups of Borax (purchased at Walmart for $3.13)2 cups of Baking Soda (or Washing Soap)2 packets of unsweetened lemonade (or Essential Oils)1/2 cup of Kosher Salt1/2 cup of vinegarice cube trays (I used mask shaped trays from Everything’s A Dollar $1 each and regular trays that I already had at home.)wax paper (optional) Directions: Pour Borax into a mixing bowl. Add in the baking soda or washing soda. Pour the kosher salt into the bowl with other ingredients. I used 2 packets of the lemonade. Stir to blend the ingredients. This is the fun part! Your mixture should look somewhat like this. I used regular trays and the mask-shape trays. After they have hardened, remove from the trays. So, how did it work in the dishwasher?
