Winter Dog Walks: Keep Safe and Healthy Dog walking is great exercise for you and an essential requirement for your dog. You shouldn't let falling temperatures and less than perfect weather put you off getting your daily walk. If anything, it's more important than ever that you get some fresh air and daylight, particularly if you suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder. Your dog, of course, needs exercise whatever the weather; without it he will become bored and may get destructive in his quest to relieve his frustration. So, come rain, snow, or hail, you owe it to yourself and your dog to get outside for a walk. Ideally, you should be walking in a winter wonderland and you can be, as long as you are aware of some potential hazards to your dog's health and safety. Consider cutting down your walking time if the temperature falls dramatically, say below freezing.

Trends - March Savvy trainers are using micro-blogging to foster informal learning and meet likeminded peers. Here's a scenario to give trainers pause. You're presenting at a conference. Minutes into your session, a number of people are tapping furiously at their phones or reading incoming messages. Though it may not be apparent to someone unfamiliar with Web 2.0 behavior, these people aren't simply multi-tasking while you teach. Twitter is a free micro-blogging service. Working the back channel While some instructors may not relish real-time reviews of their classes that cause people to leave, others know how to benefit from a roomful of people on Twitter. Dramatically improve your peace of mind in 2012 and beyond « The Improvement Zone (Picture: daveynin, creative commons) I’ve recently recognized an amazing guiding principle that’s been key to improving my peace of mind. I’m going to share it with you in this article. This principle, if applied consistently in all areas of your life, will help you to live with an ever growing sense of peace, joy, and security. The principle actually developed in my mind while driving in traffic. I realized at some point that I had more opportunities to move over into the faster lane when I had some space in front of me to accelerate before merging into the faster lane. I started to consistently leave more space between my car and the car in front of me when stopped or moving slowly in traffic. I very quickly noticed something else when I started leaving that space open ahead of me: I felt better. I began to think about what was going on in me that would make such a dramatic difference in my emotional response to the situation. Finances Time Health & Fitness Home Faith Like this:

Looking back as this year winds down, I have learned something new that has fundamentally changed the way I'm going to pursue a relationship in the next year. But the good news, is that does not mean romance is over. Look. — I'm a romantic. Earlier this year, I started my dating path with conventional dates with a few contenders. I hated to admit it, but my traditional ways of dating had started to become so unheard-of in my circles that, whereas at first I wore it as a badge of honor, I started to see that I was overdoing it.
