Painting Roses, Watercolor art instruction Watercolor Lessons Art Lessons Art Books Drawing Lessons Oil Painting Drawing for Students I have started with a new painting of the Heidi Klum Rose. It needed some time with finding the right composition. This time I will have a lot of sunshine in the painting, especially later on the leaves and in the background. Hopefully all works so how I want to have it. I have done two photos. The Heidi Klum Rose is a very pink/violet Rose. I must add here, that I am playing with the colours and when the colour is dry I often see, that it looks not completely so as I wanted to have it, so I may go over this area again and then add another colour from the colours above. The leaves will bath in sunshine later. It also can happen that something doesn’t work, or the colours do look terrible, I then always start over to try to make it better. There has not happened very much in this Rose painting yet. I am very excited that my Step-by-Step-Demonstration is also available now in Russia Language.

Since it’s still quite cold and blustery in our corner of the world, we did a little drawing outside for Friday’s art class, then we headed inside to review some watercolor techniques. I’ve already shared that I think the best way to introduce any child to a medium is with plenty of free exploration. This is a pretty common material, though — most of my students have already used watercolors. This “lesson” isn’t about making art — we’re just going to learn and/or practice a few skills so we’re ready to make art next time! Everyone started out with their watercolor paints, a nice heavy sheet of watercolor paper, a paintbrush, and some clean water. First, we talked about how to get the paint wet to get it started. Cool! Pour le papier, vous pouvez travailler aussi bien sur du papier totalement lisse que sur support épais et granuleux. Lorsque nous observons le feuillage d'un arbre, nous sommes tentés de dire que celui-ci est vert. Tout cela pour vous dire quelque soit le motif, vous utiliserez toujours de nombreuses couleurs que vous déposerez par petites touches. En théorie, aucune trace de crayonnage ne doit apparaître.
