Use o KDE ou Gnome ou XFCE Canonical referia que instalassem o Ubuntu para “evitar a dor do Windows 8″…mas afinal… No passado dia 18 de Outubro, a Canonical lançou a versão final do Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal. Esta versão traz um conjunto e novidades muitos interessante, com principal foco na interação entre o sistema e as WebApps. Depois de proceder à sua instalação (ver aqui), confirmei aquilo que muitos utilizadores se queixam e que tínhamos alertado aqui….o Ubuntu continua cada vez mais pesado e com uma performance questionável !!!!!…e muito se deve à Interface Unity. Uma das características que sempre me fascinou no mundo Linux é a possibilidade que o utilizador tem em personalizar o seu sistema. A presença da interface Unity no projecto Ubuntu já foi várias vezes abordada aqui no Pplware, em especial neste artigo (Ubuntu – Unity e a grande controvérsia).
