Museo del Clima Scribble Maps: scrivere e disegnare su una mappa Spesso editare le mappe con Google Maps non è una passeggiata di salute: richiede una certa competenza e, comunque, non abbiamo la possibilità di fare davvero tutto ciò che vogliamo. Alcuni colleghi lavorano molto con cartine fotocopiate sulle quali scrivono a mano, tracciano linee, inseriscono foto, etc. Oggi possiamo fare la stessa identica cosa ma in maniera digitale, con il vantaggio di poter condividere la mappa che abbiamo creato, inserirla nel nostro blog di classe o sulla pagina dedicata del sito della scuola. Lo strumento che vi consiglio di utilizzare si chiama Scribble Maps. Si tratta di una web app molto semplice da usare, versatile e, soprattutto gratuita. Grazie a Scribble Maps potrete inserire del testo direttamente sulla mappa, cercare le località nelle quali puntare un segnaposto, disegnare linee, forme colorate per evidenziare delle aree, ed addirittura inserire delle immagini o tracciare delle rotte aeree.
La Champions League ...della Geografia Nuovi arrivi nel portale didattico VBscuola! CHAMPIONS LEAGUE è un gioco di quiz geografici per bambini da 10 anni in poi. I quiz del gioco riguardano il continente europeo (città, mari, monti, laghi, fiumi). Scopo del gioco è vincere, con la propria squadra, la coppa della Champions League europea. Il gioco emula una partita di calcio: se il giocatore risponde esattamente ai quiz "fa gol" e porta la sua squadra alla vittoria. Rispondendo esattamente ai quiz geografici, dunque, il giocatore può superare la fase dei quarti di finale, poi la semifinale e infine può vincere la finalissima, scrivendo il nome della sua squadra nell'albo d'oro della competizione. 1. aprire la cartella di installazione del gioco (normalmente C:/Programmi/Champions League); 2. in questa cartella cercare e aprire il file Domande.txt. 5 Fun Geography Games for Geography Awareness Week On each of the previous three days I've shared some resources and ideas for Geography Awareness Week. Continuing that pattern, here are five fun games that your students can play to test and develop their knowledge of geography. GameOn World is a multiplayer geography game developed by a high school teacher and his student in Portland, Maine. The game is similar in structure to that of Kahoot. In GameOn World the teacher selects a game category (cities, places, and timeline are three of the nine categories) and starts the game.
