Comenzamos con jacksonpollock.org, aplicación que comentamos por primera vez aquí en WWWhatsnew hace ya 8 años y que no ha sufrido ningún cambio desde entonces. Su objetivo es sencillo: crear obras a todo color usando la técnica del click del ratón. No todo resultado es agradable a la vista, por lo que en muchas ocasiones será necesario comenzar de nuevo, ya que la variable aleatoria es fundamental en una web de este tipo. La segunda opción es mucho más automática. Es una solución más rápida que la anterior, ya que en pocos minutos podemos ver un buen número de resultados, ideal para encontrar lo que “pega” mejor encima de nuestro sofá. No hay forma de exportar el resultado en alta resolución, pero siempre se puede capturar la pantalla de forma tradicional.

Thanks to a recent partnership with Khan Academy, Duck Duck Moose has made its terrific Draw and Tell iOS app completely FREE. With Draw and Tell, young students can easily create an animated screencast complete with voice, drawings, images, and objects. With Draw and Tell, students can draw, color, and insert stickers or stencils onto a scene. As shown in the adjacent image, students can choose stickers, stencils, a pencil, a coloring brush, or coloring pens from menu items in the right column. At the top of the scene, a microphone is available for students to record themselves. Very young students might simply color. Though screencasts are limited to one scene, it’s possible to combines scenes to create an extended story. At its heart, Draw and Tell is self-directed storytelling and exploration tool, so it doesn’t come with a user guide.
