Ou seja, o autor do livro estipula um determinado valor para que o livro passe a circular sem restrições. É uma plataforma que está começando, mas já tem um título publicado, o “Oral Literature in Africa”, de Ruth H. Na semana passada, entretanto, o site simplesmente paralisou todos os projetos, pois recebeu a seguinte notícia: o seu sistema de pagamento, o Amazon Payments, não prestará mais serviços. Segundo uma matéria sobre o tema na Wired, Amazon argumentou que o modelo da Unglue.it se diferencia de outras plataformas de crowdfunding e que a companhia não poderia dar suporte à esse modelo em função das particularidades do próprio serviço. Infelizmente Amazon não especificou qual era exatamente o problema. De qualquer modo, o modelo da Unglue.it parece estar se tornando uma tendência.
