Staction Anywhere, Everywhere. Announcing the brand new Staction web app. Stay organized wherever you go. Outside the Browser. Staction is officially outside the browser with a growing list of API apps. Stop Managing Projects, Start Managing People Staction is for group management and communication. Fluid. While other apps have dozens of pages to navigate, Staction uses one screen for nearly everything. Chronological. Rather than a bunch of arbitrary pages mirroring the structure of a database, Staction is organized like your workflow. Your Workflow Zoomed. If you have to pull a report to understand your workflow, your app isn’t doing its job.

Project management software, online collaboration: Basecamp What Everyone Could Learn From Suddenly Quitting A Job Quitting a job you’ve held for so long can be intimidating and liberating at the same time. Yes, there’s a feeling of excitement because you’ve just broken free of something you didn’t really like participating in. But at the same point in time, there’s also a feeling of anxiety because the moments after quitting a job can seem unknown and vague to you. At the end of the day, though, quitting a job, like any other life event, can reward you with life lessons you might not have known if you hadn’t quit your job: 1. Whatever you do, there’ll always be someone who’ll judge you. If you’re still staying at your job, notice your family, your acquaintances and your work colleagues will have comments on the way you live your job. So, instead of thinking of what other people would say about you, choose to ignore their hurtful remarks and live the life you’ve always wanted. 2. Contrary to popular belief, time, not money, is the most precious commodity around. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11.

Colabolo Need a Basecamp Alternative? | PM-Sherpa Basecamp prides itself on providing their customers, for 17 years now, with the utmost user-friendly program. Their goal is to continue providing their basecampers with a product that is at the highest level of integrity and quality. Oh but wait! There’s a flip side – not everyone is a happy camper at the “basecamp”. To be frank, Basecamp frustrates some people because it doesn’t have all of the bare necessities as most Basecamp alternatives do. Basecamp does NOT have the following features: Subtasks – Task Dependencies – Gantt Charts – Kanban Boards – Export to Excel Workload Reports – Cost Tracking – Time Tracking – Import Microsoft Project Files As Basecamp is simply not up to par, what do you do? Not Satisfied with Basecamp?

Klok Social CRM Mainstreaming Continues With Hearsay | Smart Data Collective I just finished up doing some "judge work" for this year's Gartner/ 1to1 Media CRM Excellence Awards in the category of Social Engagement. I can't get into any details as the winners will be announced at next month's conference, but I can say I was really impressed with what companies are doing today in order to improve the customer experience, and to amplify the voice of the customer throughout their organizations. In my last online column for Inc.com I wrote about how I think 2011 will be the year Social CRM goes mainstream. One of the reasons I feel this way was reinforced by what I saw in the companies up for the Gartner/1to1 award - more companies of all sizes are taking a more multidimensional, strategic approach to social tools and channels. Instead of being focused on one or two aspects - or acting strictly in response mode out of fear - you are seeing more comprehensive strategies being developed to integrate social with traditional to create better processes.
