360 Degree Reverse Photography - Gallery In order to create a , you do not need to be an expert photographer or own expensive photography equipment. You just need to have a standard SLR camera, tripod and a 360-degree panorama software package and of course a good panorama to shoot. Follow these successfully achieving professional results in . First, pick a spot that is equidistant from every point in your photo. Second, pick a lightly overcast day, to achieve consistent lighting across the entire photo. Thirdly, ensure that your camera is affixed to the tripod, which is sitting on a flat surface. Shoot the first frame, and with the use of the tripod, rotate the camera in a clockwise direction so that the first and second frames overlap by 30 to 50 per cent, otherwise your photos will have lines, distortion or missing portions. A Father Who Creatively Captures His Kids (20 photos) If there was a prize that could be given out to the most creative father, I'd hope that it was awarded to Jason Lee. A wedding photographer by day, he's used to capturing some of the most important moments in a couple's lives. As a longtime fan of Jason's photos on Flickr however, I think the real magic happens when he turns the camera onto his daughters. Polaroids from Blade Runner A set of Polaroid photographs taken by actress Sean Young on the set of Ridley Scott's Blade Runner (1982) have recently been rediscovered, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the films cast and crew. Below are some of the shots from her album, including photos of Young with co-stars Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer… Melbournia on Photography Served Weaving in and out of the city’s laneways and at times venturing beyond, Melbournia takes the viewer on a photographic journey, revealing fragments of an urban environment which collectively form a distinct portrait of the city. Heiko Waechter took up photography in 2007, looking for another creative outlet away from his day job as a web designer. Since then he has been documenting the metropolitan landscape in his adopted home of Melbourne, bypassing the well-known tourist landmarks and rather focusing on his personal iconography, derived from a more intimate association and familiarity with inner city life. Born in Germany, Heiko brings some of the characteristic design sensibilities of his homeland to his work. His photographs capture facets of the world around him – subjects often appear isolated from their surrounds, which allows their intrinsic beauty to shine through. Minimal in scope, images are composed by the decision to omit as much as to include certain details in the frame.
The Girl Who Loves to Levitate (14 photos) Natsumi Hayashi is a sweet-looking Japanese girl who, one day, decided to take self-portraits..of herself levitating. She can be spotted in and around Tokyo, equipped with her SLR and her self-timer. When she feels the moment strike, she presses the shutter button down and then, quite literally, "jumps" into place. What I love most about her shots is that they don't feel forced. Natsumi has a way of making us feel as though she naturally levitates throughout life. When I asked her how others react to her jumping around Tokyo, here is a funny story that she shared. "So I stopped jumping and apologized to them by saying, 'I am taking jumping photos for my wedding party's slide show.' "Then, I took one of the best levitation shots of the entire series."
