With some trials and errors, my little jellyfish comes alive just like I thought it would be. : ) When daddy and son first saw it, they’re surprised with their jaws wide open. Things you need to make your own jellyfish (Hope you can find all these in your kitchen) : 1. Instruction: • Flatten the bag and cut off the handle and the bottom part (see picture 1) • Cut along both sides (see picture 2) to split into 2 plastic sheets – by the way, we only use just one of them. • From the center of the plastic sheet, fold it like a tiny balloon to make the head part and tie it with the thread – not too tight (see picture 3). All for the Boys - All for the Boys - MOVE OVER PAPER AIRPLANES because the straw plane is in town! I don't know what you call this thing but we referred to it as a strawplane. Whatever you want to call it, it's pretty cool! You'll need some heavier paper (we used 3x5 index cards), a straw, scissors or something to cut the paper with, and tape. You will need to cut 3 pieces of paper about 1" wide and 5" long. Tape two of the pieces together "long ways" and then tape to form a circle. Use the remaining piece to form a small circle and tape the ends together. Now you have a large circle and a small circle. Tape the straw to the inside of the circles placing the small circle at one end and the large circle at the other end. And you're done! Now is the fun part! The boys had to try and fly a straw without the circles to make sure that it wasn't just the straw that was the good flier. Have fun fllying! P.S.

How To Mix Chalkboard Paint in Any Color We love using chalkboards as backdrops for displays and parties (like this one here!). So we were super excited to learn that you can create your own custom colors-and it's really easy! We first learned how from Martha Stewart whose tutorial you can read here. She recommends that you use latex paint, but we tried it out with acrylic paints with much success. Supplies: 1/2 cup acrylic paint (choose any color you like, or mix colors together to make the perfect shade!) 1. 2. Once your chalkboard has fully dried be sure to slate the surface before using it for the first time. Have fun creating any color combination you like!!

In Spunky Junky we've found this great idea where using a slotted tupperware bin and inserting a pair of dowl rods inside (smaller than holes), we can organize and categorize all those ribbons that lurk in no order around our house. Peg Board and Accessories Station This project believe it or not is for my sweet husband. … We have been married for almost 14 years! My poor guy has not just put up with me but with my jewelry all over the place. Now I have to be honest it is not just jewelry since I admit to have an “accessory problem” that includes belts, scarves, purses and shoes. Well… those messy days are OVER honey .… because I made a jewelry station that sits right inside of our walk-in closet. I think this is my new favorite place in our home. Let me start with the Peg Board. Before anything else you need to frame the back of the board since it has to come out from the wall… Yo can use any thin board, 1″ wide is good enough… Just make sure all corners are covered for best support. After the backboards are ready all you have to do is attach them to the peg board. The next thing I did was paint the board. Giant Picture - tutorial! I posted awhile an image that showed off the giant picture I made for my girls’ room – finally, the tutorial is here! It was so cheap – around $13 (that’s $8 for the print, and another $5 worth of an $11 foam board because you won’t need to use the whole board….) UPDATE Sept 2012: – – I LOVE this project so much that I made another one for my Dining Room – and this time I mounted it on plywood.
