Japanese artist Riusuke Fukahori paints three-dimensional goldfish using a complex process of poured resin. The fish are painted meticulously, layer by layer, the sandwiched slices revealing slightly more about each creature, similar to the function of a 3D printer. I really enjoy the rich depth of the pieces and the optical illusion aspect, it’s such an odd process that results in something that’s both a painting and sculptural. Wonderful.

This free set of vector illustrations contains 7 animal meat cut diagrams based on classic vintage style butchery charts. By default each illustration contains the names of the various meat cuts manipulated to fit within the relevant area of the animal. Use the Type tool to edit the wording to suit your own design project. After editing the text it might be necessary to carefully adjust the positioning of the text so it fits into place within the animal illustration. You can also change the font along with the wording to alter the style of the illustration.
