Cat On Boat Plays With Dolphins - Slothster Comment by paulsoul100 great and wonderful, but like many, my concern is for the dolphin, they are free beings, with there own development in progress. they must not be used for our desires and will.. let them evolve in there own time in there own way. and let us not rape the oceans for our collective greed. Comment by d4dolphin Beautiful video to watch....showing people the gentleness of dolphins. Comment by cat_lover I don't think it is "fish breath" that is the attraction. Comment by dolphinlover I dont believe in keeping animals in captivity either but most dolphins or wild life that is in captivity is because they were hurt at one time. Comment by SkiBum4ever Both are mammals, The genetic engineers are attempting to cross breed the cat with the dolphins at this very moment. so look for the Furry dolphin or the very smooth cat at a pet shop near you. Comment by babyhedred This is so amazing to see. Comment by lovingtheson Comment by mockswede Comment by Overcomer98 Comment by neckarmittel
Eternal Sunshine Drug Makes a Rat Forget Bad Things [Video] Working at Scientific American, known for its spiffy technical illustrations, I always look for material that can show what an article is trying to tell. I’ve never found a better example than this video(below) of a rat fed a drug that wipes out its long-term memory, and which bears a real-life resemblance to the scenario depicted in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The opening paragraphs of the article by Jerry Adler, called “Erasing Painful Memories.” serves as a running narrative to the video. I’ve included them here: The rat is on a carousel with clear plastic sides, rotating slowly in a small room. Question: How do you get the rat to stop walking? Note that just turning off the shock will not suffice, because the rat will not allow itself to enter the danger zone. He avoids those circumstances when he can. Some people never forget the time a spider fell into their glass of milk. For the rat on the carousel, you can imagine different approaches to extinguishing its fear.

The Commons Under "The Commons," cultural institutions that have reasonably concluded that a photograph is free of copyright restrictions are invited to share such photograph under their new usage guideline called "no known copyright restrictions." Photographs can be difficult to analyze under copyright law, not only because laws around the world differ with respect to scope and duration of protection, but because the photographs themselves often lack credit lines, dates and other identifying information. Libraries, museums and other cultural institutions have a great deal of experience with photographs because they frequently collect, preserve, document and study them in accordance with their nonprofit missions. However, in many instances, a cultural institution will not be the rights holder under copyright law. Therefore, it can neither grant permission to others who wish to use a photograph nor provide a guarantee that the photograph is in the public domain.
