Mon snood ! Depuis le temps que je vois des snoods apparaître sur les blogs, l'envie d'en avoir un s'est faite sentir. N'écoutant rien, ni les encours déjà dans les paniers, ni les priorités tricotesques (ça n'existe pas ? Je croyais que si ...), j'ai prélevé la laine prévue pour un chauffe-épaule dans le dernier catalogue accessoire de Bergère de France pour en faire un snood. Qui dit snood, dit multiples modèles, un tube au point régulier ? un point travaillé ? une torsade ? Bref, il a fallut trancher et se décider pour un modèle. J'ai donc réalisé mon propre modèle et cela donne ceci : J'en suis très heureuse ! J'ai inventé mon snood et donc mon premier tricot à moi ! Le tuto ? Tout simple, j'ai utilisé 3,5 pelotes de qualité Alaska de BDF. Le tout est tricoté avec des grosses aiguilles n°6. J'ai monté 52 mailles. Recycle your old t-shirts into yarn Are your hands itching to starting crocheting or knitting but you have no yarn at home? Do you have some old t-shirts laying around at home? If your answer is twice yes, than your problem is solved and you can start in no time ;-). Of course you can buy recycled T-shirt yarn in the shop, it has the same thickness as the one you will cut but it will have a different sentimental value. Nowadays we do think more in terms of recycling, well this is an excellent way to start. When searching on the net you will find more ways of 'how to cut your T-shirt into yarn', but for me this video explains it very well. The only part of the t-shirt used is the part just underneath the arms till just above the bottom seem of your t-shirt. This yarn is excellent for potholders or for home made carpets.
