The Fuji Finepix S9500 is an advanced digital camera. It has many features that you would expect to find on a Digital SLR camera. With nine megapixels and a 10.7x optical zoom lens the Finepix S9500 is a very powerful digital camera. It is a large camera and this coupled with its features means that it is a camera for the enthusiast rather than someone who is looking for a camera that is easy to use and wants to take snap shots. To get the most out of the camera you will need to either know a fair amount about photography already or be prepared to spend time getting to know the features of the camera and how and when to use them.

The Fuji Finepix S5700 is a seven megapixel digital camera with a ten times zoom lens. The length of the lens makes the camera a good choice for subjects where you need plenty of zoom. These include sports and wildlife photography. The Finepix S5700 also has a number of more advanced features including manual exposure. If you are interested in the longer lens, but do not wish to use the more advanced features you can use the camera's automatic mode.

As part of the Cutting Edge range in Samsung's line-up, the SH100 shouldn't really be into looks. It should be all about the technology, but what Samsung has produced is a snazzy little unit stuffed with features. With an oversized lens barrel to hold the 5x optical zoom this gives a range of 26 – 130mm in 35mm terms. On the back is a 3-inch touch sensitive LCD screen with 320,000 dots (106,666 pixels) with all the features and modes accessed directly from it. Within the menu, there are four pages of things to do ranging from Smart Auto shooting mode, to Video, Email, Set-up menu, Photo Editor and Remote Viewfinder. Herein lies one of the problems with the SH100.

Fuji FinePix S5000 Digital Camera When a camera is this good you need to ignore the fact that this is a mere 3.1 megapixels. The lens is excellent, and with 10x optical zoom will produce stunning photos with minimal effort. The only minor fault is damage to a plastic sprocket inside the battery compartment disabling the door from shutting properly under the stress of 4 batteries on heavy springs. However, this is easily fixable on an otherwise excellent camera.

Still getting to grips with all the settings/adjustments. Had the camera for about a month now. I didn't buy mine from Amazon, it came in a nice box with a photoediting software (which can even re-do an image you've taken into 3D and view with the included 3D glasses - not spectacular). You get a nice neck strap and batteries included. Camera uses usual SD card (not included).
