Hackers backdoor the human brain, successfully extract sensitive data
With a chilling hint of the not-so-distant future, researchers at the Usenix Security conference have demonstrated a zero-day vulnerability in your brain. Using a commercial off-the-shelf brain-computer interface, the researchers have shown that it's possible to hack your brain, forcing you to reveal information that you'd rather keep secret. As we've covered in the past, a brain-computer interface is a two-part device: There's the hardware -- which is usually a headset (an EEG; an electroencephalograph) with sensors that rest on your scalp -- and software, which processes your brain activity and tries to work out what you're trying to do (turn left, double click, open box, etc.) Both of these commercial BCIs have an API -- an interface that allows developers to use the BCI's output in their own programs. Moving forward, this brain hack can only improve in efficacy as BCIs become cheaper, more accurate, and thus more extensively used.
50 User Interface Design Tools A Web Designer Must Have
The success of web applications and websites depends in how well designed the User Interface is. Designing a good user interface however is a very challenging process. A designer’s concepts and design decisions always affect the end users of the web site, application or generally any user interface or service he has designed. That is why, the dream of every designer is to deliver high quality, enjoyable and valuable experiences for the users. To achieve this goal, it is necessary that a web designer have a collection of web user interface resources and building blocks in his arsenal. There is a variety of User Interface resources that allows you as designer to access, redefine, and create a well crafted User Interface. Let us explore these things and further our own craft. E-biobanking: What Have You Done to My Cell Samples? The rise in biobanking (collecting and storing human biological material) has increased the need to store large quantities of related data and make that data available to researchers and others. However, this introduces concerns regarding data security and dependability. The BiobankCloud project is developing technology to help create e-biobanking ecosystems based on a secure, dependable private-public "cloud of clouds" accessed through platform-as-a-service interfaces. Idaho Observer: The "Current" state of Mind Control
From the January 2007 Idaho Observer: The "Current" state of Mind Control by Hari Heath Mind control can be many things. Disciplining a child; selling a product through effective advertising; managing public education; imposing a coercive legal system; programming a given population with repetitive media information while excluding or diminishing alternative sources; torturing a prisoner until they confess to a crime they did not commit; or, more positively, engaging in a spiritual or mental practice which puts the mind in a peaceful, harmonious state. For good or ill, mind control is the act of causing the mind to function according to a desired outcome. In the history of human governance, almost everything has been tried to bring the will of the people in line with the will of the governing class. Ultimately in this age, the goal of upper echelon government operators is to control the mind and achieve "consent of the governed." Chemistry and bioenergetics Dr. At the core Brain states Dr.
Google introduces "Save to Drive" button, allows users to easily save files to Drive instead of computer
Google is continuing to make it easier to use their cloud service Drive as your every day storage system. As a means to this end, Google has introduced a new website button called "Save to Drive." This new button, when implemented on websites, allows a user to easily save a file to their Drive, rather than download it to their local system. Bigstock, Delta Dental, Fotolia, O'Reilly, Outbox, Zen Payroll, and Google Notes have already implemented the new button. Unfortunately, the button still relies on your local web connection.

Nikola Tesla and the Ultimate Weapon (HAARP) - Masters of the Ionosphere (BBC Horizon 1996)
Recounts the history of scientific attempts from Nicolai Tesla, Marconi, Van Allen and Dennis Papadopoulos onwards to understand the atmospheric layer, known as the ionosphere and its weaponitization by the US Military in Alaska which has led to the establishment of HAARP (High Altitude Auroral Research Project) which will beam energy directly into the ionosphere and thereby stimulate or heat small, well-defined volumes of it. Back on the ground, an array of geophysical research instruments--such as low-frequency receivers, magnetometers, an ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) diagnostic radar, optical, and infrared spectrometers and cameras--try to see what happens to the ionosphere as a result of these signals. Some ecologists insist HAARP is that and much more. And now the evidence that weaponized HAARP complexes are being built by the USA, Russia, and China in remote regions across the world has surfaced. PROF. NARRATOR: This was the structure that Dennis Papadopoulos was looking for. DR.
