What Is LOIC? WikiLeaks Case: Bradley Manning Questioned By Prosecutors FORT MEADE, Md. — As a military prosecutor held up a knotted bedsheet in court, Pfc. Bradley Manning acknowledged on Friday that he fashioned a noose and contemplated suicide shortly after his arrest on charges of engineering the biggest leak of classified material in U.S. history. The pretrial testimony appeared to support the military's argument that it was trying to protect the former Army intelligence analyst from harming himself by taking away all his clothes, keeping him in strict isolation and shackling him when he was outside his cell. Manning's lawyers argue that the conditions he experienced for nine months at the Marine brig in Quantico, Va., amounted to illegal punishment, lasting well past the time he was having suicidal thoughts, and that the charges against him should be dropped as a result. On Friday, prosecutor Maj. "You made a noose out of this?" "Yes," the soldier replied. In one recorded visit, a friend asked Manning if he had to perform hard labor. Earlier on HuffPost:

Shortly after a 4.6 million dollar donation by J.P. Morgan, the NYPD began planning and executing their aggressive and tactful mass arrest on the Brooklyn bridge which seemed more like entrapment from the eyes of many. In solidarity with the ones arrested, we are publicizing private information on the associated bankers and officers. If You Break The Rules On Google+, You Can Lose All Google Services Break the Chain of Consumerism So you want to be happy, yet you find one of the largest hindrances to this is the amount of time you slave away at work. Day after day you dread waking-up, hit snooze 16 times (you were smart enough to set the clock a tad bit early), roll out of bed, go waste valuable life in exchange for currency, come home watch TV, and repeat. Sounds familiar right? But my friend I am here to tell you it is not normal at all, it is conditioned… And it can be broken once you find the culprit (soon to be revealed). Our culture has taught us that in order to be happy we must follow a familiar pattern. Step A – Spend loads getting a sound education, have a blast doing it, and obtain everything you want during this youthful stage. Step B – Use your education and go get yourself a good job. Emanuel's Protest-Squashing "Sit Down and Shut Up" Ordinance Passes in Chicago Following weeks of public pressure against Chicago's changes to the city ordinance by Occupy groups and concerned citizens, the City Council voted Thursday to adopt the ordinance changes introduced by Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Critics say the "sit down and shut up" ordinance, as it has been called, seeks to chill protest and civil liberties in Chicago through measures including mandatory $1 million liability insurance for protests, a heightened police presence and more difficulty getting a permit. Increased fines of up to $1,000 for people arrested during a protest were originally in place, but Emanuel withdrew the proposal Tuesday. When the ordinance was first introduced, it was said to be only a measure for the NATO/G8 conference to be held in Chicago in May, but it was later revealed that the ordinance change is expected to be permanent. This ordinance does not exist in a vacuum.
