Antony Hare, P.I. Worldseeder | Building story worlds that are seeded with inspiration and conflict Photographer Martin Schoeller The Welsh Piper » Medieval Demographics Online An automated tool for creating fantasy populations (with offline version, too) This tool lets you generate figures for populating low-fantasy kingdoms and settlements. Instructions are included in Low-fantasy Populations article, also included in the offline download below. Use the drop-down menus and input fields in the form below to generate realistic population numbers for any low fantasy setting.
We've hit a snag... Original codebase drawn from The Domesday Book by Brandon Blackmoor, based on Medieval Demographics Made Easy by S. Low Fantasy Population Generator (offline version) Kitchen Helpers I found these helpful charts last week and just had to share! Both of these beauties are from Chasing Delicious (aka one of the most fab foodie blogs out there)! Aren’t they faaaaabulous?! Buy them here. (Note: There are lots of little charts like this online, but these are my favorites). I love tea, but I’m no expert. For people of the UK, have this one with you while you’re meal planning or grocery shopping! I’ve fond some other helpful charts that I’ll share in another post! Yay charts!

How the People Around You Affect Personal Success This this this this OMG this. My ex-husband was a schlub. He was constantly losing his job, and was completely ambition-less. All he wanted to do was play video games and drink Coke. Our friends were basically his clones: game and eat bad food! Every weekend! During this time, I struggled to succeed. Eventually, I left him, then met my now-husband. Overnight, my career took off. 365 Budapest 365Budapest Werk from zsutti on Vimeo.

Minimalist Disney Posters By Rowan Stocks-Moore UK-based graphic designer Rowan Stocks-Moore has a definite knack for minimalist style. Being the avid Disney fan that I am, I did mental cartwheels over his collection of Disney film posters. They paint (no pun intended) a simple and to-the-point portrait of what these movies are essentially about, while still leaving a bit of intrigue. What's even better, is that he has his own Etsy where he's selling said posters! More after the break!

Standing Out With Personal Emails Standing Out With Personal Emails The real secret to standing out from the rest of the inbox is to get personal. This is absolutely more work than just collecting a list and sending a newsletter, and it will pay off. Hone in on Your Target Thanks to services like Agency Access, anyone can build a perfect list. © Marc Scheff Find Out What They Want Do a little legwork to find out how a target client likes to get submissions, and how often. Give it to Them A personal note to your potential client shows you’re interested in them and not just a job, and will result in a much higher rate of return on your investment. Cardboard Art by Evol As we have mentioned on the site before, we are huge fans of the work of EVOL, the German artist who seems to have the ability to transform any landscape or found object into his own little world. Some of his best work involves found cardboard, where he takes a simple piece of paper and creates incredible cityscapes and urban environments on the cardboard surface. (images via)
