@Occupy_USA My Soapbox Advice to the OWS Movement and then some I may not know much, but I know a lot of it. So I decided to share my opinions and thoughts on what I would do if the OWS movement either elected me Grand Poobah or asked for my advice: 1. The Great Lie of Wall Street. Every CEO tells the same great white lie. It is at the heart of every communication. Great CEO White Lie = “We are acting in the best interests of shareholders.” When a CEO utters this lie, everyone automatically forgives whatever they do. The problem is that unless the company is losing money and it is the only way to keep the company alive, in this era of 9.1pct unemployment it NEVER is in the BEST INTEREST OF SHAREHOLDERS. Shareholders , whether they own shares directly or through mutual funds or pensions do not live in a corporate vacuum. If OWS really wants to change corporate structure and impact the economy, talk to shareholders. You might even consider buying a share of stock. 2. Those personal guarantees would change EVERYTHING in the banking industry. 3. Crazy ?

We All Occupy Occupying is behaving as if you live in the better world we all dream of: where basic needs are met for all, where greed is unacceptable, and where people consider others when they make decisions. To be honest, being kinder and more helpful is everything. Imagine if all of the people who work for banks and corporations had been kinder and more helpful. How about the politicians? Globally, we would not be in the situation we are in today. But if you want to take more concrete actions, then pick an issue that matters to you and pressure your government or a corporation to change their behavior. To occupy does not require that you go out and protest, or that you join a group. You may want to connect with others to join in their actions (or to invite others to do your actions). Hopefully this page answers the questions that many have about occupy.
HBGary Federal Document on Manipulating Social Media The HBGary Federal breach conducted by the rogue movement Anonymous, and the subsequent release of tens-of-thousands of company emails, revealed multiple instances of ethically questionable proposals for covert operations. HBGary Federal, Palantir Technologies and Berico Technologies were involved in developing WikiLeaks counter-operations strategies for Bank of America and proposed disinformation campaigns, cyber attacks against network systems, and strong-arming journalists. Other information released in the breach show the companies were engaged in developing strategies to infiltrate other civil activist groups, and plans to use social media for distributing government propaganda. There was also evidence that HBGary Federal was involved in developing an undetectable, full command and control cyber offensive weapon called Magenta.
