ArchitectureMMXII I own nothing.Enjoy. "All art and design is modern at the time it is made" - Cennino Cennini " Tradition by definition, is the inherited and complex evolution of things cultural, social, conventional, and institutional. The question regarding it is: which traditions live and change, and which do not." "Let us use our intelligence, together, to define our use and understanding of the word tradition, and once again, to proceed using it proudly." It would be wise to start using classic styles again, we need to get over our post-WWII fear of classic and ornate things. "Have you ever looked at a bizarre building design and wondered, "What were the architects thinking?"

Plan 9 from Bell Labs Plan 9 from Bell Labs is a distributed operating system, originally developed by the Computing Sciences Research Center at Bell Labs between the mid-1980s and 2002. It takes some of the principles of Unix, developed in the same research group, but extends these to a networked environment with graphical terminals. The name Plan 9 from Bell Labs is a reference to the Ed Wood 1959 cult science fiction Z-movie Plan 9 from Outer Space.[5] Also, Glenda, the Plan 9 Bunny, is presumably a reference to Wood's film Glen or Glenda. The system continues to be used and developed by operating system researchers and hobbyists.[6][7] History[edit] Plan 9 replaced Unix as Bell Labs's primary platform for operating systems research. A user and development community, including current and former Bell Labs personnel, produced minor daily releases in form of ISO images. Design concepts[edit] —Sape J. Its designers state that: 9P protocol[edit] Union directories and namespaces[edit] /proc[edit] /net[edit]
