K&W / Trapladen (laden maken tussen de treden in) Enige tijd geleden bracht een user op FOK! mij op het idee om de ruimte tussen de treden van de benedentrap te benutten door er laden in te creëren. Zoals het altijd bij mij gaat (als ik een idee krijg of op een idee gebracht word) ben ik dezelfde dag nog gaan rekenen en meten. Het zouden laden worden van 75cm diep, 78cm breed en 14cm hoog.Als eerste ben ik de openingen in de schopborden gaan uitzetten: Daarna ben ik begonnen met boren en zagen (wilde in eerste instantie met de decoupeerzaag te werk gaan, maar dat kwam qua ruimte tussen de treden niet uit dus heb ik eerst wat gaten geboord en toen met een schrobzaag de gaten gezaagd). Op het restant van het schopbord zat een bekleding die door het zagen was gaan loslaten dus die heb ik even opnieuw bevestigd. Terwijl de lijm van bekleding aan het drogen was ben ik begonnen om de laden te maken. Terwijl de lijm van de laden aan het drogen was ben ik het geleidingsmechanisme gaan maken voor de laden.

Elke centimeter is goed benut zonder dat het volgestouwd is. De trap treden doen dubbel dienst als opbergruimte, wat hun negatieve ruimte ideaal benut. De slaapkamer en living voelen niet bedrukkend aan en de keuken is klein maar knus. De hele woning voelt ooklicht en luchtig aan. Een zeer geslaagd project als je het mij vraagt.
