Gnostic Society Library: Sources on Gnosticism and Gnosis Almost all of the several dozen internet sites with collections of texts similar to our own obtained their material by directly or indirectly copying some files present at the Gnosis Archive. Ours was perhaps the first major collection of such texts to appear on "the web" in 1994, and thus has served as a source for others creating "their own" collections. Unfortunately transcription errors, typos, and primitive HTML formatting were present in the massive amount of material added to the Gnosis Archive in our first years; in a repeated process of "copying" they have been very widely propagated around the internet. Over nearly two decades we have made many corrections to these texts. It appears that few of the sites copying material from this collection have taken the time to read, edit and correct the texts! This is of course exactly how the manuscript tradition has propagated errors in the past centuries, though with vastly different technologies of reproduction.
The Satanic Rituals The Satanic Rituals is a book by Anton Szandor LaVey published in 1972 as a companion volume to The Satanic Bible. It is a collection of nine rituals with an introductory essay to each. The Satanic Rituals includes the child baptism ritual used by Anton LaVey at the first publicly recorded Satanic baptism in history for his youngest daughter Zeena (in The Satanic Rituals, LaVey dedicates the ceremony to Zeena). It was published by Avon Books as a 224-page paperback. See also[edit] Satanism: An interview with Church of Satan High Priest Peter Gilmore References[edit]
The Debate Over Internet Governance: Introduction Welcome to the Debate Over Internet Governance: A Snapshot in the Year 2000 This website was prepared as a final project for the course Internet & Society: The Technologies and Politics of Control at Harvard Law School. This site aims to do that which might seem impossible in a medium that changes so quickly and so dramatically to freeze a particular moment in the debate over internet governance. [Note: as of May 2005, the legal landscape has continued to change. Here is a link with more recent information about internet governance] The moment we seek to capture here is no ordinary moment in the development of the internet. At some level, even those most wary of formal governance for the internet recognize the need for central administration of some of the internets technical aspects. The creation of the Internet Corporation for Names and Numbers known widely as ICANN in November 1998 has given the debate on internet governance a new focus. On November 25, 1998, the U.S.
Liber AL vel Legis Liber ALvelLegis sub figurâ CCXX as delivered byXCIII = 418toDCLXVI A∴A∴ Publication in Class A Introduction IThe Book 1. The Author called himself Aiwass, and claimed to be “the minister of Hoor-Paar-Kraat”; that is, a messenger from the forces ruling this earth at present, as will be explained later on. How could he prove that he was in fact a being of a kind superior to any of the human race, and so entitled to speak with authority? 2. The study of these passages necessarily demands supreme human scholarship to interpret— it needs years of intense application. This matter is best studied under the Master Therion, whose years of arduous research have led him to enlightenment. On the other hand, the language of most of the Book is admirably simple, clear and vigorous. 3. 4. IIThe Universe This Book explains the Universe. The elements are Nuit— Space— that is, the total of possibilities of every kind— and Hadit, any point which has experience of these possibilities. IIIThe Law of Thelema*
