Sometimes the experiments are driven by mere curiosity, while others are meant to see how far we can push the boundaries of a service. All of our experiments have one common element, problem solving. When we first created the kl.am URL shortener, we did it to solve a problem. At the time, there wasn’t an SEO friendly shortener that supported campaign variables (now referenced as tracking tags by Google). Campaign variables are great, because you can assign a source, medium, and name, like Twitter and/or Social Media Campaign. So campaign variables is the main reason we built kl.am, period. Several months after we debuted an SEO friendly URL shortener that supported campaign variables, many existing and new shorteners added them to their service. With the mass support of campaign variables, it wasn’t necessary for us to keep kl.am running. Spammers use of kl.am became epic.

The best way to start a colorful art piece is finding the right colors. Let's start with opening a new document of around 1350 pixels by 1600 pixels with a resolution of 300px/inch. So now that we found a good fitting color, grab the Paint Bucket Tool (G) and fill the new layer with #166a91. Now what we need is to give this background some life. When you're done with coloring the background make sure everything works for you fine.

badi : Baha'i/Badi Developers Institute This grass-roots initiative aims to allow Baha'i developers a forum to discuss plans to collaborate together to render services both of special interest to the Baha'i community as well as to the wider public (especially projects which are open source and could benefit others as well). The project has begun with a desire to refine the Text Browser project--a project which aims to allow sophisticated browsing and searching of the Baha'i Writings and other texts as well (now offline due to issues needing fixing). The site bahai-library.com is itself to be made open source at a later date, and these two projects (as well as other open source CMS') are intended to be integrated. A special focus will probably be the TEI Writings prepared by the Baha'i World Centre. Other possible activities might include setting up a webpage to showcase Baha'i initiatives on the web. The front wheels drive it on land while the prop drives it at a break-neck 5 knots in the water (where it'll be the only van you can't get done D.I.C in). Has onboard 240v supply.
