Une amie française, avait sur son lit un couvre-pieds, au crochet, un peu abîmé! Je lui promets de le réparer, sauf que je comptais un peu sur la venue d'une autre amie, pour voir comment faire au mieux! Impossible de retrouver le même fil, surtout çà.... Et puis un trou au crochet, ne se répare pas au crochet comme au tricot, si vous m'avez suivie.... Donc trou par trou... voici la chose! Quand je vous dis trou, c'est trou! Première tentative, avec un fil plus fin, mis double, coton mercerisé En cours, bien entendu! Je suis repassée avec un fil bambou, ou plutôt deux fils (sur huit je pense) de fil bambou! Ce sont des gros plans, forcément, mais de loin, çà commence à le faire! Les autres trous, je les ai faits avec du fil à coudre de façon à ce que ce soit relativement invisible et surtout plus solide! Avant Après (plus facile dans cette grille!!!!) Çà se voit un peu! Mission accomplie? Bon fil!

This bad boy was one that I had been consistently working on in between other projects for about a year (yeah, I know). This thing is huge! And I don't know why I decided to make it so ridiculously large; it measures about 8 inches wide by 7 inches tall. Materials: Size G, 4.5 mm Crochet Hook 1 Skein each Red Heart Classic Acrylic Yarn in Red, Black, and Off-White (This really doesn't use a whole skein of yarn; if you have some good-size leftover balls they should be fine.) 1 Sheet White Craft Felt Off-White or Grey Embroidery Thread Batting Tacky Glue Handfull of Weights (I like to use the inexpensive glass pebbles found in the floral department at craft stores.)
