My Mom's Cinnamon Rolls When mother's day rolls around, I always feel a little stressed about how I'm going to honor my mom. She's a pretty amazing person. If you're in her line of sight, she'll become your mom, too - and not in a bossy, pushy kind of way, but in her own quiet way that says "I see you, and I'm going to give you help if you need it.". She has a true servant's heart and I hope to be just like her one day. Mom and I are really close and, well... here's why. Mom.Thanks for all the meals you made for me. The list goes on and always will. Mother/Daughter Mom passed down to me a love of bangle bracelets and coffee the color of caramel (but I did not inherit her green thumb, darnit). Last week she came over to my house and we made her favorite cinnamon rolls. Below is a complete visual to putting these delicious rolls together. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! For the dough, heat milk, 1/2 cup sugar and salt in a saucepan over medium-high heat.

Restaurant Style Orange Chicken Alright you guys, seriously, this orange chicken tastes exactly like the best orange chicken you’ve ever had at any restaurant. I was very, very, very skeptical at first because I’ve never fried meat before and I was afraid it would turn out terribly. Kramer was adamant about having me make orange chicken that would remind me him Chinese take-out, though, and I couldn’t let him down! I honestly can’t emphasize how good this orange chicken is. Your ingredients. Mix together the chicken, egg, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of canola or vegetable oil, then add in 1/2 cup of cornstarch and 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. Heat enough vegetable or canola oil in a pot or a wok (about an inch deep in the pot) for about 5 minutes over high heat. Turn the heat to medium-high and fry the chicken in small batches so it cooks evenly. Remove the chicken from the oil with a slotted spoon and allow to drain on a paper towel until ready to use. In one more bowl, zest your orange. Restaurant Style Orange Chicken
Unbelievably Easy Roast Beef I present to you all a Christmas roast. It’s the perfect holiday meal. This roast beef is rich and flavorful, while still very buttery and tender without actually using any butter! Happy Holidays! Look at how simple those ingredients are! Cover a baking sheet with foil, then place a cooling rack over top. Make the garlic into a paste. Continue to press down on the garlic with the side of your knife until it starts to form a paste. I know this is a terrible picture, but it should be as smooth as possible. Mix the garlic together with the pepper, oregano, basil, and crushed red pepper flakes. Rub the roast with olive oil then rub with the herb and garlic mixture. Heat the remaining oil in a medium pan and add the roast, browning on each side for 3-4 minutes. Allow to rest for 5-8 minutes before slicing. Slice thinly and enjoy with some vegetables, potatoes, or crusty bread. Unbelievably Easy Roast Beef Cook time: Total time: Serves: 6
