Segue.: “Em meio a incertezas na economia, modelos de redes biológicas podem oferecer pistas valiosas para tentar compreender o sistema financeiro e seus riscos, indica artigo publicado nesta quinta-feira (20/1) pela revista Nature. Segundo os autores, Andrew Haldane, do Bank of England, e Robert May, da Universidade Oxford, na Inglaterra, os responsáveis pela definição de políticas públicas precisam se concentrar em avaliar os riscos e aumentar a estabilidade do sistema financeiro como um todo, em vez de focar apenas em bancos individuais com mais problemas. Haldane e May oferecem sugestões, a partir do uso desses modelos, para se atingir a estabilidade no sistema bancário como um todo, ao mesmo tempo em que seus integrantes possam crescer individualmente.
