I have a considerable amount of experience with project management (PM) and as such I have strong opinions on GTD as I rely on it to stay organized from day-to-day. My Addiction to GTD Software I’ve been using various GTD apps over the last 10 years, and I always end up using an application that does most of what I want, but not all. Granted, that “most” has begun to get awfully close to “all” in the last few years as applications have begun to talk to each other via the cloud and APIs. On my iPad/iPhone, I have over 20 GTD related apps. Things App This is long-time favorite app of mine for task management. Pros of Things App Fully featured GTD software with projects, scheduling, repeating tasks, tags, and areas of responsibility. Cons of Things App Developer communication is piss-poor. Ta-da List Hello, We launched Ta-da List back in January of 2005 so everyone could have a fast and free to-do list app in their web browser. There wasn’t much out there that was good in 2005. My, how things have changed. Now there are dozens and dozens of great free to-do list apps on the web and dozens more on the iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone. Because we haven’t given Ta-da List much attention in the last few years, and as part of refocusing our efforts on Basecamp — we’ve decided to retire Ta-da List. Aujourd’hui, je vous propose un test d’une application pour iPad assez particulière : My Notebook! . Après avoir testé The Caller, le développeur m’a demandé de faire un test de son application iPad. Je suis donc allé sur l’AppStore voir de quoi il retournait. Et là, c’était enfin l’application que je cherchais depuis la sortie de l’iPad (à 2 ou 3 détails près). Une belle application qui regroupe de très nombreuses fonctionnalités et surtout la possibilité de ranger tout dans des dossiers comme je le veux et pas comme l’application le décide. Génial. La présentation est bien pensée avec, sur la gauche, les dossiers, modulable en nombre et en présentation, et même des raccourcis vers Dropbox et GoogleDocs. Chaque dossier peut être personnalisé par sa présentation (couleur, icône, etc.) et peut contenir différents types de fichiers : texte, dessin, check-list, note manuscrite, web-clip: pas mal!
