C'est très difficile à expliquer c'est pourquoi j'ai fait des schémas. Le premier schéma montre l'envers, le second l'endroit. Je vais quand même essayer avec des mots, mais je n'ai guère d'espoir que ce soit plus clair: le fil de droite (représenté en rouge sur le schèma, passe sur la languette "de dessus" (barre supérieure droite), puis sous la languette "de dessous" (barre supérieure droite). I hope you all had a great weekend! I am back today to share our next ‘Shanty Storage Solution’ with you! As I mentioned in my DIY Spice Rack post, Ash and I are on a mission to use our love of wood and DIY to create solutions for our kitchens and our homes that help things run more smoothly and efficiently. My next project was to tackle my canned food collection! Awwww… SO much better than how they used to be! I do think it’s cute, but I was going batty stacking my cans on an hourly basis! I made these canned food organizers in 2 sizes. Here we go! Supplies! For each organizer I used 1/4″ hardwood plywood. I also used a 1×12 for my shelf pieces. I also use a 1/2″x2″ pine board for my bottom shelf front piece. When you break it down, these cost under $5 a piece to make. Cuts! For the sides you will need 2 pieces of 1/4″ plywood cut to this.. For the shelf piece I cut my 1×12 into 4.75″ pieces. Next, I marked both of my side pieces for my shelves! Mark each side like this… Easy!

We found inspiration on Pinterest and built our own self-rotating racks! With just a piece of plywood and some 1x3s and some 1x2s. Some L brackets and lots of screws we built this!! We made sure that the cans that we wanted to put here fit in each row. At the bottom of each row, we put this wedge piece. And on the wedge we screwed in an L bracket. We screwed two boards with an angled cut at the top to the wall and the rack had boards with opposite angle cuts on the back. Here is the first rack. And here are both! UPDATE We had a request for more information on the canned food rack that we posted a couple of months ago. If I was building it again, I'd use very thin plywood (1/4" or thinner) for the pieces that go on the front of the rack, instead of 1"x2". The angled piece at the bottom of each row of cans was just cut from a 2x4.
