Scientists think the antimatter particles were formed in a terrestrial gamma-ray flash (TGF), a brief burst produced inside thunderstorms and shown to be associated with lightning. It is estimated that about 500 TGFs occur daily worldwide, but most go undetected. "These signals are the first direct evidence that thunderstorms make antimatter particle beams," said Michael Briggs, a member of Fermi's Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) team at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). He presented the findings January 11, during a news briefing at the American Astronomical Society meeting in Seattle. Fermi is designed to monitor gamma rays, the highest energy form of light. Although Fermi's GBM is designed to observe high-energy events in the universe, it's also providing valuable insights into this strange phenomenon.
Cool Tools Access to tools, techniques, and shop tales from the diverse worlds of DIY Food tips too good not to share Ramen noodles are often a punchline in jokes about poor college students, singles eating over the sink, and starving artists. It may sound a little corny to admit, but for me, they’ve become a daily restorative ritual that I’ve come to rely on. Every day for lunch, I microwave a cup of Dr. Every now and then, a book comes along that captures a whole subculture within the pages of a modest paperback. First published in the early 1980s, The Bedside Reader is a legendary collection of machining lore, shop tips, clever workholding tricks, and war stories from the world of lathes, mills, and surface plates. What makes Lautard’s book special isn’t just the tips (though there are hundreds of excellent ones), but the way it invites you into the mindset of a maker always looking for a better, smarter way. But, the real shocker?

Fenig When you can't get the news from objective, neutral, unbiased reporters you've got to get it where you can. DISCLOSE THIS! ©2012 viewzone.com Back in 2010 there was a strong belief among informed people that the US government was about to reveal the existence of aliens and UFO technology. Since then we have seen professional astronauts, former NASA engineers and some CEOs of aeronautical corporations speaking publicly about reverse engineering and technological advances made from analyzing captures or crashed UFOs. Since 2010 the political and social climate has become even more charged. Disclosure seems very unlikely, with the exception being some obvious sighting or event that would force the government or military to show their hand. We've updated this well received report in DISCLOSURE. Part 1 - What, When, Who & Why (repeat) An overview of the current status of the "official" disclosure to the public about the presence and history of alien races on our planet.
