How to Create a Virtual Auto Using 100% Brush Techniques
First of all I would like to thank my friend Pavaloi Lucian also known as Leeloo for working with me on this tutorial. This tutorial will be all about using the Brush Tool (B) and about knowing how and where to place lights, shadows and reflections. For creating this piece you will also need a photo of a car for reference. In this tutorial, we used a friends car as reference and photographed it. Let's get started! Final Image Preview Take a look at the image we'll be creating. Step 1 First open the reference image in Photoshop. Step 2 Now create a new layer on top of the image. Step 3 Use the Dodge Tool (O) set to Midtones with Exposure set to 11% - 20% and add some light over the coachwork. Step 4 Same as you did in Step 3, select the Burn Tool (O) with Exposure set to 9% - 10%, and add some shadows over the body. Step 5 Next you need to make the car image visible again. Step 6 Next, use the Burn and Dodge Tools to add some more shadows and lights on the coachwork. Step 7 Step 8 Step 9 Step 10
Prudence.

Street beggars and logo design – A source of success! | Logo Des
A few months back, I discussed whether a successful logo designer is talented or taught. We came to a conclusion that it is a blend of both qualities because creating a logo design requires both knowledge and creativity. The learning process complements the inner talent of a designer. The eminence of being human is that we constantly learn from one another. Rich habits that logo designers can learn from the beggars! Yes…the impecunious and shelter less people roaming on the streets, commonly known as beggars are a great source of motivation and inspiration for logo designers. Street beggars are found in almost every country.
Create a Web App Admin User Interface in Photoshop
Web applications are popular due to the ubiquity of web browsers. The ability to update and maintain web applications without distributing and installing software on potentially thousands of client computers is a key reason for their popularity. A modern and easy to use Admin User Interface is the key to success of web applications. Final Result This Web Application Admin User Interface is what we are about to make. BackgroundStep 1 Create a new document in Photoshop that is 1200x1112px. Using a Linear Gradient and a dark gray (#333333), click and drag it from the top down. Twitter Crowns Bit.ly As The King of Short Links; Here's Wh
A little startup called Bit.ly has unseated TinyURL as the default link shortening service on Twitter. This isn't just about shortening links, though. "The truth about Bit.ly," enterprise software analyst James Governor said today, "is that it's not a URL shortener, it's a trend management and metrics platform." The key idea behind the Web is that pages are connected through hypertext links. Google changed the world and made money beyond anyone's wildest dreams by analyzing those connections between pages. It was a simple proposition, at its core: the more a page is linked to, the more authoritative it is. People share links to pages. We don't want to argue that Bit.ly is the next Google, but the technology it's brought to market could be very important in the indexing of the social web. Today Bit.ly quietly became the new default link shortening service for Twitter. What Bit.ly Could Make Possible Scaling Bit.ly As you can imagine, scaling is a serious issue.
