Shakespeare Insult Kit Shakespeare Insult Kit Since 1996, the origin of this kit was listed as anonymous. It came to me on a piece of paper in the 90's with no attribution, and I thought it would make a cool web page. Though I searched for the origin, I could never find it. In 2014, Lara M found the originating author. Ramsay The Eight Best Rage Comics Ever We’ve all been there: surfing the internet, trolling for some cheap LULz, and there we find ourselves: face to face with he-lair-i-ous rage comics. For your viewing pleasure, we have compiled the 8 best rage comics ever: Holla Back Job Interview Watching Other People Use Computers Changing The Wife’s Tire We Almost Died Eight Secrets Which Writers Won’t Tell You Image from Flickr by Lazurite This is not particularly relevant to the post, but I’m getting an awful lot of comments telling me, often a little snarkily, “it’s ‘THAT’ not ‘WHICH’”. The “don’t use which for restrictive clauses” rule comes (as far as I can tell) from Strunk and White. There was never a period in the history of English when “which” at the beginning of a restrictive relative clause was an error. I thought about putting “that” in the title – but I like the sound of “which” between “secrets” and “writers”. And with that out of the way, enjoy the post! A few years ago, I’d look at published writers and think that they were somehow different from me. They were real writers. But as I’ve taken more and more steps into the writing world, I’ve realised that my perception just doesn’t match up to the reality. I’m going to go through eight secrets. Secret #1: Writing is Hard Writing is easy: All you do is sit staring at a blank sheet of paper until drops of blood form on your forehead.

A Table That Turns Your Kitchen Into Mini Ecosystem [UPDATED] Convenience and efficiency are king when it comes to product design. What could be more efficient than a natural ecosystem? That's the insight behind a "living kitchen" designed by the brilliant young design studio Studio Gorm. They looked at what we have in our kitchens--fruits, vegetables, organic waste--and figured: That's actually enough to create a miniature system for watering fresh herbs, composting the waste, and generating new soil. None of the elements is brand new to this product, but their integration wins points for ergonomics and ease. Maybe what's most surprising is that Studio Gorm isn't based in the Netherlands or Scandinavia--but rather in Eugene, Oregon. Check out some of Studio Gorm's other designs, including a modular furniture system of pegs and boards; an elegant Egyptian-inspired chair; a handsome adjustable lamp; and an overhead light inspired by--of all things--a falafel container.

Self Pics After a few days sick I am finally back with more self pics… enjoy them! Take that, piracy (2011-02-09) Wednesday, February 9, 2011 | 02:47 AM | by Tim There's a rumor going around that in the wake of the PS3 root key hack perpetrated by George Hotz (among others), Sony is considering implementing the use of "registration keys" for its games. Nothing is confirmed yet, and Sony has said they are simply "looking at options". Now to be clear, I fully support the rights of any developer/publisher to attempt to prevent the piracy of their software in any way they deem effective. And frankly, as a long-time PC gamer, I don't see the big deal with serial keys. I've been entering serial keys for my PC games for over a decade. With that said, I've also been seeing serial keys hacked and cracked for over a decade as well. The problem with protecting software in this day and age, however, is that it seems most of the most effective methods of preventing piracy are the methods that can also cause a larger inconvenience to the paying customer.
