5 Top Characteristics Of Full Time Musicians
This guest post comes from Dave Cool, the Blogger In Residence at musician website and marketing platform Bandzoogle. I’ve now been involved in the Montreal music scene in some way for 17 years, and have seen many artists and bands come and go. Now that I’m in my 30’s, I’m starting to truly understand what it takes to “make it” as a musician/band. What do I mean by “make it”? 5 Top Characteristics Of Full Time Musicians 1. The artists and bands that I know that are making a full-time living are some of the hardest working people I know. 2. To make it as a full-time musician, you have to eat, breath and sleep music each and every day. 3. Speaking of money, I don’t know a single full-time artist that is playing music simply for the money. Don’t get me wrong, although it’s not about the money for these artists, they do have a business sense, which is extremely important. 4. Being a DIY artist doesn’t mean you have to or should do it all on your own. 5.

Lately, they’ve been criticized for everything from wearing weaves to weighing more than other racial groups. Now, Surgeon General Regina Benjamin, a black woman, is chiming in about the reason behind the higher obesity rates. Benjamin, who has been criticized for being overweight herself, recently told the New York Times: “Oftentimes you get women saying, ‘I can’t exercise today because I don’t want to sweat my hair back or get my hair wet.’ Benjamin’s insight on this topic is considered credible because her mother was a hairstylist. I just never got it until I was diagnosed with breast cancer. None of this had anything to do with my hair. It requires a change in lifestyle.
The Complete Guide to Not Giving a Fuck
Ok, I have a confession to make. I have spent almost my whole life– 31 years–  caring far too much about offending people, worrying if I’m cool enough for them, or asking myself if they are judging me. I can’t take it anymore. Today, ladies and gentlemen, is different. We’re going to talk about the cure. Do you wonder if someone is talking shit about you? Well, it’s time you started not giving a fuck. FACT NUMBER 1. Yes, it’s really happening right at this moment. What people truly respect is when you draw the line and say “you will go no further.” Right. Regular people are fine– you don’t actually hear it when they’re talking behind your back. Thankfully, that’s not actually true. FACT NUMBER 2. This stuff is crazy, I know, but it’s cool, you’ll get used to it. How liberating this is may not even hit you yet, but it will. You know when they say “the best revenge is a life well lived”? So not giving a fuck is actually a necessary precedent to create a good life for yourself. STEP 1.

Color Psychology
by David Johnson Like death and taxes, there is no escaping color. It is ubiquitous. Yet what does it all mean? Why are people more relaxed in green rooms? Why do weightlifters do their best in blue gyms? Colors often have different meanings in various cultures. Black Black is the color of authority and power. White Brides wear white to symbolize innocence and purity. Red The most emotionally intense color, red stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. The most romantic color, pink, is more tranquilizing. Blue The color of the sky and the ocean, blue is one of the most popular colors. Green Currently the most popular decorating color, green symbolizes nature. Yellow Cheerful sunny yellow is an attention getter. Purple The color of royalty, purple connotes luxury, wealth, and sophistication. Brown Solid, reliable brown is the color of earth and is abundant in nature. Colors of the Flag In the U.S. flag, white stands for purity and innocence. Food for Thought
