Radikal Vänskap, grafisk form: Bastion Agency Studio Lab • DNK – Den Nya Kvinnogruppen, foto: Saga Berlin RADICAL FRIENDSHIP DNK – Den Nya Kvinnogruppen The New Women’s Group 21 March – 30 August 2015 During the spring and summer of 2015 Gustavsbergs Konsthall will be showing a new exhibition produced by DNK – the New Women’s Group entitled Radical Friendship. DNK is a group of feminist artists and craftswomen founded in 2013 by Evelina Hedin, Hilda Hellström, Kakan Hermansson, Anna Nordström, Malena Norlin and Åsa Norman. The impulse to form the group came from the members’ reactions to what they describe as a patriarchal art and craft context. In order to promote and make room for an approach that encourages solidarity with other women, DNK initiates discussion and produces exhibitions and workshops embracing practical material-based activities.

A sequence of 8 atmospheres add interest and emotion for the wanderer: paths, parking area, fragrant islands, vegetable garden and chicken coop, multifunctional surface, white forest, boat, soft red island.
Library - Studio Makkink & Bey
Public Commission of the University of Orléans, France with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Communication. The history of the Université d’Orléans and its hometown becomes animated in a new interior by Studio Makkink & Bey, which is furnished with specially designed Dupanloup chairs and tables, catalogue pieces and customized furniture. The new interior design, Dexter and Sinister, officially opens in September 2014.

[B-FIT] is the first exhibition by design collective group FACT NON FACT exploring essential elements of object: material, form and composition and is of a new interpretation of the principle: “Form follows function” associated with industrial design in the 20th century. There are various objects fall in certain position under regular categories respectively, but [B-fit] is to break this sense of equilibrium and it is to arouse natural enjoyment from simple innocence. The role of material is no longer limited by means of design and expands the meaning of object as revealing the essential qualities and the beauty of materials. In this collection, being away from a limited role for function, each form of objects represents simplicity and purity of basic geometrical figures.
