Submarine’s top sailor axed amid hazing probe By Sam Fellman - Staff writer Posted : Saturday Mar 31, 2012 9:29:02 EDT The top enlisted sailor on a Kings Bay, Ga.-based guided missile submarine was fired Friday for “dereliction of duty” amid an investigation into hazing claims onboard the submarine, Submarine Group 10 said. Master Chief Machinist’s Mate (SS) Charles Berry was relieved as chief of the boat of guided missile sub Florida’s Gold Crew by Capt. “During an investigation surrounding allegations of hazing onboard USS Florida (Gold), Berry was found to have neglected his duties as a leader onboard the submarine,” the release said. Berry is the sixth top enlisted fired this year, and the second from the submarine force. Specifics on the investigation remain unclear, such as the nature of the alleged hazing, when it may have occurred or who may have been involved. Berry has been reassigned to Submarine Squadron 16.

The close relationship between the two types is emphasised by the fact that a PBM-5 Mariner served as the prototype XP5M-1 which, when ordered into production, was given the name Marlin. The modified hull of the XP5M-1 incorporated radar-directed nose and tail turrets, as well as a power-operated dorsal turret, and power was provided by two 2424kW Wright R-3350 radial engines.

Crusty Bread 3 cups unbleached all purpose flour 1 3/4 teaspoons Kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon Instant or Rapid-rise yeast 1 1/2 cups water In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt and yeast. I must begin by saying where the recipe originated, if in fact it originated anywhere...really. Remember before beginning to create, that this bread is highly forgiving. You do NOT have to have an enamel covered cast iron pot. You DO NOT need to oil the pot. In a large mixing bowl add 3 cups white unbleached flour. To the flour add 1 3/4 teaspoon salt (I use kosher I like it) and 1/2 teaspoon rapid rise or instant yeast. Whisk the flour, salt and yeast together. Add 1 1/2 cups water. Mix in the water. That's it! Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it set for 12 - 18 hours on the counter top. After 12 hours the dough will look like this. Meet my blue Le Creuset. Now, please disregard that this dough has stuff in it.
Sigmund Freud Sigmund Freud (/frɔɪd/;[2] German pronunciation: [ˈziːkmʊnt ˈfʁɔʏ̯t]; born Sigismund Schlomo Freud; 6 May 1856 – 23 September 1939) was an Austrian neurologist, now known as the father of psychoanalysis. Freud qualified as a doctor of medicine at the University of Vienna in 1881,[3] and then carried out research into cerebral palsy, aphasia and microscopic neuroanatomy at the Vienna General Hospital.[4] Upon completing his habilitation in 1895, he was appointed a docent in neuropathology in the same year and became an affiliated professor (professor extraordinarius) in 1902.[5][6] Psychoanalysis remains influential within psychotherapy, within some areas of psychiatry, and across the humanities. As such, it continues to generate extensive and highly contested debate with regard to its therapeutic efficacy, its scientific status, and whether it advances or is detrimental to the feminist cause.[10] Nonetheless, Freud's work has suffused contemporary Western thought and popular culture.
