I was thrilled for this opportunity because decorating is a weakness of mine. I found the perfect spot in my classroom for the letters and cleaned the surface before I measured where I wanted the letters to go exactly. Next, I peeled the back layer of paper off and slowly and gently pressed the letters to the wall to get them to lightly stick. It is really important to use the squeegee to help secure the letters in place. Tada! Now, this is the perfect item for me because I have been in the same classroom for 12 years. Att snabbt kunna flagga något som eventuellt falskt eller tveksamt är en viktig förmåga att öva upp och inget som görs på en dag men ju mer man övar sig i medieanalys och medielogik desto duktigare blir man. En start kan vara att fråga eleverna om de stött på något i sina sociala medier-flöde som de direkt tänkte ”det här kan väl ändå inte vara sant” och gemensamt diskutera varför den känslan uppstod. Fortsätt sen att gemensamt debunka/genomskåda påståendet genom att du som lärare googlar inför hela klassen utifrån deras föreslagna sökord. Man kan sen låta eleverna göra YLEs struntdetektor-test som på ett underhållande sätt prövar elevernas förmåga att se igenom strunt.
