This is a book about making a big family schedule. Well, a schedule for mother and the homeschooled children, at least.I first heard of this book a few years ago and when I saw my friend’s schedule, after she read this book, I was horrified. You see, back then a schedule of this type scared me to death and looked too controlling and inflexible to me. It seemed to me (at that time) to be the antithesis of what a freedom loving, spontaneous homeschooling family (like us) should be using. And here I am a few years later not happy at all with the various things I’ve tried doing not working out too well for us. I have done unschooling. Then we had a year of health crisis with two relatives with Cancer that my husband and I were helping with (am still helping one with now). I also lived through the times when my younger son was a baby and toddler and I was trying to do homeschooling with him underfoot. Wish me luck.
