Coca-Cola Cupcakes I don’t drink coca-cola. But I do eat it. Weird. It’s way better eaten. There’s some dark and white sugar cooked with dark dutch processed cocoa powder…and a can of coke! There’s some the ol’ that pouring into this and this pouring into that. There’s some mixing. Take a little PAM and spray the liners–this is a sticky cupcake batter. Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread I’m sorry. I know it’s Monday morning and you probably came here for some pretty pictures of food that you could glance at, and then move on with your day… and here I go thrusting warm, soft cinnamon sugar bread in your face. It’s not fair. I know it’s not fair. I know that now you’re craving cinnamon rolls, and cream cheese frosting and chili fries and hot dogs. You don’t deserve this sort of torture. This bread hits all the comfort spots in my soul. I’m sorry and you’re welcome and I love you. Let’s start at the beginning. I did this all without the use of a stand mixer and dough hook. This dough can be made and left to rise , then refrigerated overnight for use in the morning. This is the dough just before it’s left to rise. After the dough has rested and risen for an hour, I knead it in a few tablespoons of flour. This is the part in the bread process where you can wrap the dough and place it in the fridge to rest overnight. I worked with my dough right away. I can’t even deal.

M2 loves his brownie mix above because while I’m at work he can whip up a batch with my surfer and feel like he has stepped out of his sous chef role into the postion of head honcho. Snickerdoodle Muffins Last Friday I finished my exams and was planning on coming home and having a baking extravaganza, but then I tripped on my cat and fell down the stairs. We're both fine, though I think he's a lot more fine than me because as soon as I felt his soft body under my foot I took all my weight off of him and slid down the stairs. Which has left me with a swollen foot. I recently discovered the insane deliciousness of snickerdoodle cookies. As for how they turned out, the muffins were incredibly moist and a great sour cream muffin texture. Fried Ice Cream - StumbleUpon I'm sure you are thinking about Cinco de Mayo this very minute. You should be because it's in two days. We look for any excuse to celebrate. We look for any excuse to celebrate with food. This year I thought I'd share a recipe for deep fried ice cream. This would be considered one of my "BIGS". You will need a good quality Vanilla ice cream, corn flakes, flaked coconut and cinnamon. I just happen to find New Simply Cinnamon Corn Flakes. You can, of course, use regular corn flakes. You will need to make 5 scoops of ice cream from a quart size container. Drop the scoops of ice cream onto a baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Let me tell you what you don't have time for...PICTURES. The ice cream melts too fast. Put the corn flakes in a plastic bag. Pound the corn flakes with a rolling pin or crush the corn flakes anyway you'd like...just crush them. Put the crushed corn flakes into a shallow bowl. Add 1 cup coconut. Add one tablespoon cinnamon. In shallow bowl add 2 eggs and 1 tablespoon milk.
