First rule of marketing It's hardly a secret that photos are often heavily retouched before publication, but it's relatively rare that a source image is available, allowing direct comparison with the final version. Here's a particularly blatant example. The image on the left is a studio photograph of Keira Knightley, taken for use in material promoting her recent film, 'King Arthur'. On the right the same photo is incorporated into a poster. Some have expressed doubt that they really are the same image, or that only the head is the same, superimposed onto a different body. A few changes are uncontroversial: the image has been rotated through 4.3° to improve the overall composition. However, the main changes go beyond 'accentuating'. I'll let others decide on the aesthetics, ethics or even necessity of this manipulation.

TypeLogic Home Page Jenny vs. Spencer JENNY vs. SPENCER: SPENCER RESPONDS! I'm sure that everyone has seen Jenny quitting via dry-erase board, but now Jenny's mysterious boss has responded the same way. The Illuminati The Illuminati are an international group whose primary goal is the control of the entire world under a one world government. Members of the Illuminati trace their origins back a reptilian extraterrestrial race that interbred with humanity many thousands of years ago. They believe that their "center of power" is in the lower fourth dimension, the lower astral as many people call it, the traditional home for the 'demons' of folklore and myth. These fourth dimensional reptilian entities work through these hybrid bloodlines because they have a vibrational compatibility with each other. The Illuminati contend that most European and American rulers have been members of this alien breed, and thus they have been controlling the world for centuries. All major events in human history over the last couple of centuries are, according to the Illuminati, results of attempts to achieve their one world government in which all are subjugated by the Illuminati elite.
Cubelets Makes High Tech Tools Available To Eight Year Olds - Video Vault - Portfolio.com Imagine if Pippi Longstocking and Mr. Rogers had a kid, and that kid grew up to be a mad scientist hocking robots to children and adults. Well, that's just about what startup ModRobotics has accomplished with this video promoting Cubelets. Founded in 2002 as a spinoff from Carnegie Mellon University, Cubelets obtained its initial funding from private endowments and the National Science Foundation. The product consists of 15 different types of blocks that accomplish various tasks categorized as acting, sensing, and thinking. Much to our chagrin, it turns out the wild-eyed star of the video is not a member of the actual design team, but a spokesperson. Schweikardt says he first learned of architectural elements such as balance, structure, shape, physics, and form while playing with construction kits such as Lincoln Logs, Legos, and Transformers. In 2010, Cubelets were exhibited by the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Michael del Castillo Email
Shakespeare Insult Kit Shakespeare Insult Kit Since 1996, the origin of this kit was listed as anonymous. It came to me on a piece of paper in the 90's with no attribution, and I thought it would make a cool web page. Though I searched for the origin, I could never find it. In 2014, Lara M found the originating author. An English teacher at Center Grove High School in Greenwood Indiana named Jerry Maguire appears to be the originating author.
