Food products are of different types and their nature is also different, they are exposed to heat, light, damp and wet environments. The other aspect that is required to be looked upon about packaging ink is that it should retain the barcode marking in every temperature and environmental conditions. Packaging ink is used on the surface of the packing for they are in direct contact with the food item. It is therefore very important that they should be used of good standard, should be natural and non-toxic.
