What Schools Can Do To Combat Bully. School staff and their anti-bullying strategies are a figurehead to beating bullying. While things are being done, more can be done to combat bullying. Schools should already have anti-bullying strategies in place. These may be effective to some extent but more must be done. Most strategies only involve an immediate group of students or the bullies and victims personally. Putting on a NO-BULLYING! Creating an Anti-Bullying Banner where students and staff paint pledges of no bullying. I (Nathan Cassar) have developed an Anti-bullying package that is suited for primary schools. By implementing these strategies, the whole school community will be addressed of the importance of a no bully zone in schools. Values Education | Values Homepage. The Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics was first developed in 1990 by a national working party, with considerable input from the early childhood field. The 2003-06 Code of Ethics Agenda resulted in a new Code of Ethics, which was endorsed at Early Childhood Australia's National Council meeting in September 2006 (currently valid). The Code of Ethics is owned by the field, rather than imposed upon it. Wise moral decisions will always acknowledge our interdependency; our moral choices are ours alone, but they bind us all to those who will be affected by them.So deciding for yourself what's right or wrong does not mean deciding in isolation' (Mackay, 2004, p. 242). Rubrics and Rubric Makers. As we all know grading is the most necessary procedures of our career. It might just be me, but grading is the bane of my existence. Do you feel the same way? Grading large works, especially towards the end of the school year, feels like it is an endless and mindless process. I remember a few years back when I helped grade over 4,000 essays from a neighboring school district. The only thing I can relate the feeling of completing that grading session was giving birth to my daughter. When you grade large works of any kind it is very difficult for even the most competent people to remain 100% objective. Not only do rubrics lead to better equality in assessment, but it gives you standard that will help you understand exactly what you are looking for in the quality of work.
