Robert Tweed

Robert Tweed has been involved in real estate transactions his entire adult life, having purchased his first rental in his hometown of Toronto, Canada, when he was 22 years old. He was able to buy his second Toronto rental a few years later. Robert eventually relocated to Los Angeles, CA in 1987, using his passive income streams. Robert began sourcing and flipping foreclosures soon after arriving in Southern California and had completed well over 30 real estate flips prior to the early 1990s crash. The concept of a 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchange was introduced to Robert in 2004. Robert was then employed by Del Exeter, a local CPA in Monrovia, California. Del introduced Robert to his son Bill Exeter, who was the Head of Chicago Title Company's Exchange Division at the time. With the assistance of Bill's expertise, he quickly caught up and expertly guided Robert's 1031 Exchange transactions to success. Since then, Robert has aided his clients in well over 100 property transactions. Robert has been a part of over $500 million in successful 1031 exchanges. Robert's main focus in his business is guiding clients through the 1031 exchange process. He and his company are at the forefront of locating replacement property for the tremendously appreciated sales figures that are taking place. Robert has been involved in multi-family, retail, NNN leases, commercial buildings, oil and gas leases, raw land, and other types of investment properties.
