Make sure the drain valve on the sideof The Laundry POD is set to Unlatch the lid on top ofThe Laundry POD. Half fill The Laundry POD with water. Add a small amount of detergent (about 1/5 of what you would normally use). Place up to 10 garments intoThe Laundry POD. Turn the handle slowly for 1-2 minutes for agitation. Open the door on the side of The Laundry POD and aim the hose into a bathtub, sink, or water basin. Watch the water exiting the hose. Close the drain valve. Remove the lid and fill The Laundry POD with fresh water until the clothes are sumberged.
Lock lid in place and turn handle for a minute or two for rinsing. Open the drain valve and drain the water through the hose. Hang the garments on a clothes line or drying rack to dry completely. Rosenbaum Creates a Sprawling Vertical Garden from Hundreds of Recycled Soda Bottles. Rosenbaum used a collection of recycled plastic bottles to transform a corridor outside a colorful home in Sao Paulo into a sprawling vertical garden.
The garden was made by stringing the bottles horizontally in a grid along an interior wall and then filling them with soil and herbs for the family to use in day-to-day cooking. The project was designed in collaboration with television producer Luciano Huck for a program called Home Sweet Home. For Home Sweet Home, Rosenbaum transformed over fifty Brazilian homes with colorful makeovers that were easy on the wallet. Their beautiful homemade vertical garden infuses a home’s walkway with greenery, and it can be constructed almost entirely with found materials.
