Blood-C. Summary[edit] Saya Kisaragi is a seemingly-normal girl who is overly clumsy and kind.
She lives with her father, the head of her hometown's shrine, and learns the "art of the sword" from him. She has to fight against the Furukimono ("Ancient Ones"), the monsters that menace her peaceful town, with a sword left by her missing mother. However, as she fights against them, she learns more things about who she really is and her real mission. The series is set in the same world as the other installments of the Blood saga, but features a completely different story and setting. An anime adaption by GoHands aired from October 2, 2013 to December 25, 2013 in Japan with a simulcast airing on the same day in Asia on Animax Asia. Viz Media has licensed the anime for streaming and home video release in 2014. Plot[edit] In 2016, a catastrophe occurs after a nuclear meltdown from the nearby Odaiba nuclear power plant contaminates Tokyo, forcing the government to order its citizens to evacuate. 20 years later, Tokyo has become a ghost town due to the high levels of radiation which the government has banned entry for anyone.

Is a light novel by Gen Urobuchi, illustrated by Takashi Takeuchi, and is a prequel to Type-Moon's visual novel, Fate/stay night. The first volume was released on December 29, 2006, and is a collaboration between Type-Moon and fellow developer Nitroplus.[2] The second volume was released on March 31, 2007. The third volume was released on July 27, 2007. The fourth and final volume was released on December 29, 2007, along with the Fate/Zero Original Image Soundtrack "Return to Zero".

When the Cicadas Cry), known simply as When They Cry for the North American release of the anime adaptation, is a Japanese murder mystery dōjin soft sound novel series produced by 07th Expansion. The games are built on the NScripter game engine and are playable on the Windows operating system. The first game in the series, Onikakushi-hen, was released on August 10, 2002, and the eighth and final game in the original PC series, Matsuribayashi-hen, was released on August 13, 2006. While the first four games carried the overall title Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, the next four games were produced under the title Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. Two sets of drama CDs were produced, one by Wayuta and the other by Frontier Works. Gameplay[edit] Higurashi is a murder mystery game described as a "sound novel" by 07th Expansion. The game utilizes intermissions where the player can obtain several Tips. Characters[edit] Bones (studio) In 2007, the studio suffered the loss of co-founder Hiroshi Ōsaka, well known for his works as character designer on series such as Mobile Suit Victory Gundam, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, and The Mars Daybreak.
Ōsaka had been battling with cancer, and died from the disease on September 24, 2007. He was 44 years old.[2] Since the death of Hiroshi Ōsaka, two new additions have been made to the studio's board of directors. The additions are Makoto Watanabe and Takahiro Komori. Takahiro Komori is well known as a character designer and animator who has been with the studio since their inception.
