C'est même devenu la priorité pour les DSI, selon les différentes études menées par les principaux cabinets Forrester, IDC et Gartner. Une priorité, certainement ... mais toujours très complexe, car les DSI se posent de nombreuses questions sur la pérennité et la sécurité des offres, les standards à retenir et l'interopérabilité des différents clouds. RFC (Requests for Comments) are documents whose aim is to become Internet standards, that is open documents which will be used by everyone to interoperate. For example, RFC 1034 explain the concepts of the DNS (Domain Name Service), the service which translates names (such as www.rfc1149.net) into IP addresses (such as 91.121.19.179).
RFC 1149, written par David Waitzman as an April fool in 1990, describes how avian carriers can be use as the underlying network for Internet (instead of an Ethernet cable for example).
