Jonathan Spangler Bean
Jonathan Bean is an investment executive with more than 30 years of experience in alternative asset management, institutional investing, and private capital formation. Mr. Bean is the co-founder of a substantial institutional investment firm that provides capital to some of the world’s largest insurers. Under his leadership, the firm scaled to approximately $700 million in assets under management and became an early institutional provider of third-party capital in this segment. He previously co-founded HBV Capital Management, an event-driven investment firm acquired by The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. Earlier in his career, Jonathan served as a Director at Allen & Company, where he worked in alternative investments and private capital strategies. He currently serves as President of W.R. Bean & Son and J.S. Bean & Son and remains active in philanthropy, education, and community organizations. Jonathan is known for his disciplined investment approach, long-term perspective, and commitment to responsible stewardship.
