The most intimate and crucial aspects of planning your wedding is deciding on your wedding celebration. The wedding celebration (also known as the bridal celebration) may vary depending on your preferences, religious practices and traditions of your culture. There is no need to organize a wedding reception however it can be beneficial in the event that you elope, you may require a witness or two. A typical wedding celebration could include close friends and family members who can help you plan your big day, and also be there to help you walk down the aisle to say vows. Find out about the roles as well as the roles and responsibilities of each person involved in the wedding reception.
There are three different types of wedding-related responsibilities depending on the individual's role. Your wedding party will be involved in planning the wedding. Others will assist in the ceremony as well as officiating duties. Other people will support the wedding by other means. There are three categories of responsibility, and who in your wedding party is covered under each of them. Go here: Bridesmaid Gifts for more information.
Wedding planning Wedding
Each bride (and groom) requires a helper, or a right-hand person to manage many of the wedding arrangements. Honor attendants are maids/matron-of honor (also known as a best man) and best man.
The maid of honor or matron of honor is by the bride's side during all the planning for the wedding and usually handles the following:
Make plans for the bachelorette or bridal shower
Shops with the bride bridal party gifts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the bridesmaids
Handles some wedding day details like toasts to the couple
Dress the bride-to-be for the wedding
This is the path for the bride to walk down the aisle during the ceremony.
She holds the bouquet of the bride's at the ceremony
Help guests handle wedding presents delivered to the reception
The best man advises the groom prior to, during, and after the wedding and typically does the following:
Plan the bachelor party
He invites the groom to the ceremony
Transportation for groomsmen
Provides tips and charges to various vendors, which includes the officiant.
Aids in obtaining the marriage certificate
Brings the bride's wedding band and holds it during the ceremony
Toast the couple at the reception
Ceremonial Roles
Without an officiant, there is no ceremony. This is why it's the most important role in the ceremony itself. Alongside the parents of the couple, who could help plan and pay for the wedding or parties and other events, the individuals in the ceremonial role may have other brief but symbolic ceremonial activities that may be performed at the ceremony or reception:
The Officiant: Helps couples prepare for the actual ceremony. The Officiant leads the ceremony and pronouces the couple's marriage certificate.
Mother of the Bride is escorted along the aisle by an usher, to her ceremony location, or can walk alongside the bride on her way down the aisle.
Father of the Bride: Usually walks the bride down the aisle during the ceremony and makes the speech. He also participates in the father-bride dance at the reception.
Mother and father of a groom are led down the aisle by an usher to their respective places during the ceremony
Grandparents also being taken by an usher down the aisle until they are seated during the ceremony
The role of support and supplementary Functions
Bridesmaids, or groomsmen, bride's attendants and ushers are all trusted family and friends who support the needs of the bride and groom and the maid/matron-of-honor and the best man. There is the possibility of having groomsmen and bridesmaids who are younger members of the family typically preteens up between 16 and 17 years old. They may help with organizing events and be ushers at the wedding reception.
You often consider your wedding guests to be heavily involved in the wedding planning process. They'll likely commit considerable time and perhaps even money to participate in your bridal party sleep shirts, so it's important to thank your wedding party for their assistance throughout the process. The wedding party should be able to express gratitude to your party for all their effort. Also, show your appreciation for their support and friendship for your special day.
