Education & Training | Dr. Victor Bruce MD. From a young age, Victor has always been fascinated by science. At 11 years old his mother bought him his first chemistry set for his birthday, and he was enthralled by the various experiments he could perform. His fascination with science never left him, and he went on to study biochemistry in university. Education Victor was born in Ghana’s capital city, Accra, and completed his basic education from elementary to medical school in his home country. At the University of Ghana, he graduated at the top of his class. This allowed him to receive a full scholarship to go to the University of London to complete his Bachelor’s in Biochemistry in 1987. With his new degree in hand, he returned to the University of Ghana Medical School, where he graduated as an MD in June 1991. Training and Volunteer Work Victor’s education didn’t stop after medical school.
