How to choose an egg donor?

The procedure starts with a Gonadotropin injection to stimulate the donor for 10-12 days, followed by egg retrieval.

The procedure is only started if the recipient’s screening tests, including blood tests and ultrasounds, have come back normal.

To prepare the recipient, Estrogen pills are administered.

On the day of the egg retrieval, a sample of the sperm is taken. The embryos are then transplanted to the recipient’s uterus a few days later after the egg and sperm have been fertilized in the lab.
