Wilm's tumor is a rare cancer, accounting for only about 5% of childhood cancers. It can occur in one or both kidneys, and often presents as a painless abdominal mass or swelling. The prognosis for Wilm's tumor is generally favorable, with about 90% of children surviving five years or more after diagnosis.
